I am gluing two pieces of G-10 together and cant decide on which epoxy to use. I want something really strong and that is gas and oil resistant as well. Any suggestions?

I dont know how gas and oil resistant it is but I have had good luck with both acraglass and now west system. Both came highly recommended here and work really well.

West system Three or G-Flex,or acraglass are both good.Rought and flatten the sides to be glued with 60-80grit and don't clamp too tight and cause a glue starved joint.

Stan is right about the pressure. I've found that these particular clamps work really well for laminating G-10 handle slabs, liners, etc.

They put nice firm pressure on that doesn't leave any gap but they don't squeeze it all out. I have a bucket of them just for gluing up handles. I clamp up my handles to a 1" thick pine board and use wax paper because the epoxy that oozes out will not stick to it. Just pop the slabs off the wax paper when epoxy has cured and grind off the excess.

I also drill some divots into the sides of the G-10 that will be glued together where pools of epoxy can collect and strengthen the bond. I use West Systems G-Flex after experimenting with several different kinds early on. Like most folks here said....it's good stuff!

I am a huge West System fan and I know that everyone on here recommends G-Flex, but I bought some recently and it just doesn't have a long enough pot life for my purposes. When they say five minutes, they are not lying. I plan to continue using 105 resin and switch between 205 and 206 hardener depending on how fasgt of a setup i require.
