Epoxy mixing containers

I use old telephone books and just tear off the page and throw away.

I went to my local coffee shop and had them order a case of the little plastic cups you might get your salad dressing in or a small serving of cole slaw, etc.
3000 of them cost I think maybe 12 dollars?
They're always clean and contaminate free.

I've used cool-whip-type container lids, duct tape, old catalogs, torn-off pieces of 12-pack boxes... anything with some kind of coating on it for fear the epoxy would soak right through and make a bigger mess than usual.

I do like the ideas about using the little condiment/medicine cup things though

BTW whatever you use, try not to let a big glop of epoxy fall on your pant leg, or at least take them off as soon as you notice it :o Don't ask how I know...

 Just a couple of questions how bad was the burn and how long did you have to wear those pants! :D

I use a lot of what is handy myself for epoxy mixing and such but these little containers come at no cost and once I seal them in a Ziploc bag I don't have to worry about anything contaminating them.

Railrider I appreciate the offer but I am committed for the next few weekends helping family. That's Ok I am fixing to roof the house, then I get my payback!;)

I usually just put two strips of duct tape on the bench and mix on this. When finished, just rip off and throw away. (I use the leftover epoxy to plug holes and dinks in my work benches)
It also make sit easier to measure the epoxy by eyeballing the round puddle it makes.
