Epoxy Problems Again

sorry let me clear that up. i might not have worded it right. i was thinking the humidity might have affected the epoxy, not the handle material.
hopefully i can get this olved saturday when dan checks out my knives, and check out what i'm using the do the work.

When you ground the scales flat, did they get warm or hot to the touch? If you did, that is part of the problem. Natural material moves when it gets hot. It may be flat when you grind it and even stay that way a day or two but come back after a week or more and see how flat it is. I've learned this the hard way more than once.
Just another guess of many to try and help solve the glue mystery. good luck.
