My only contribution; here's what the same knife looks like after years of hard use

I agree, very great to see.

I want to thank all the guys that have posted here. It's very appreciated.

I have a lot to chew on now. I think I'm going to try a full size spear and full size clip on one and a spear/punch combo on another. Two full size blades in a 4" handle will be a lot of knife in a relatively small place.

That Sears knife is a jewel, Mike. Any idea who made it for them?

Yes it is one of my favourites, I got it as GA from Jake (AKA supratentorial), thanks so much Jake.
The Henry Sears co. was purchased by Farwell Ozmun Kirk & Co Hardware of St. Paul, MN, in 1897 who used the trademark "Henry Sears & Sons 1865" until 1959. Hard to be certain who made it for Farwell Ozmun Kirk & Co. Candidates include NYKCo, Walden K Co, Ulster, Camillus, and probably a few others.
Mike
