Equal End Jacks

....all I know is Delrin is easier to say than polyoxymethylene :)

Ofcourse...you can't believe everything you read on the Internet. Actually Delrin comes from a composite material made from the wings of the dung beetle.;)

That distinctive jiggiing on his wings is stunning. Is that a small bean on his tongue?

I see they get "christmas tree" cell from the same critter!! Whooda thunkit???

I was once a beatle's carapace!!

Purty but stinky!!
Kerry, recognize anything???

Ah yes! I incorrectly dubbed those scales "robot puke" due to my lack of education. Live and learn. :)

Wow Charlie! I think you fried my retinas with that one! Nice equal ends everyone, gives me a hankerin' to look for a few more, as this is my only one:

Schrade Cut. Co

Nice richly dyed peechseed on that one Eric. I like the bit of history on the shield, too. Good old Schrade Cut Co.!!

Eric....I absolutely love the color and texture of the bone on that old knife. THAT is a real beauty!:cool:

O.K. Here's a big old Empire, very worn down, but with beautiful old bone handles. And with it a Shapleigh NOT worn down! Maybe a Camillus or a Kutmaster contract knife?? I say that because of the blade shape.

Great pattern, Eric. Those flat beveled bolster models are rare!!
Here is a 3 3/8 Schrade very like the Chapman that started this thread! I have reposted the Chapman with it so you can "chicken-eye" them!!

I think if someone knew the times when different bone jigging was used, they could date Schrades. Some facts are known, but not all!
Here are two more, a wee 3 1/8", and a mighty 4 1/4".

I really like the name "Equal End Jack". It sounds like a great breeding stock to produce well balanced mules. :D

I also really like this pocketknife:

This worn out fella felt really bad about not being included, so I figured I'd cheer him up a little;):D :
