. My wife is into natural horsemanship training so there are things for that. .

Gajinoz, is that Parelli horse-man-ship? They're always around here..OK, they're in ocala, which is about 2-3 hours away, and I was interested to see what they had to offer.

Parelli has coined the phrase for his marketing purposes but what he has really done is look at the methods of the older masters and refined it into a nice tidy package that the average person can grasp and follow. Don't get me wrong, Parelli is an exceptionally good horse handler and you can learn a lot from him but I dislike his marketing approach to the whole thing. If you go with the Parelli system you will learn a lot and you will probably end up a better horse person and you will have a better horse but you had better be prepared to buy all the Parelli approved training, gear, books and videos.

By all means, go along and watch him, take some basic lessons, you'll soon know if it's for you or not. Apart from anything else, his methods are vastly more humane than some of the more "traditional" methods of horse training. Both my wife and I train horses using some of his methods plus those of other "natural" horseman. Works for us.

I think i might had slid away from the G&G theme here a little. Sorry about that.

OK, I decided that a horse product might not be the best gift, so I designed and ordered a T-shirt with a horseshoe on the front and on the back it says "Jake" and "98" in sports-jersey lettering (her horse's name and the last two digits of his birth year). I also got her a mousepad with a large picture of the horse, and I'll burn her a bunch of CD's (instead of buying them and going over "the limit" :D )

I think you did good! :)

The t-shirt was a superb idea. The mouse pad was corny. The Cd's are just plain illegal. :)

You did great.

Hope she gets you something nice.
