I understand Equip 2 Endure posted a video a while back interviewing Ethan at the shot show. I decided to post that here along with another four part series of interviews. Just thought I would bring them all together for the Becker community to see. Enjoy! :D

That's a good collection. Ethan needs to get his own Twitter feed. I'd sign up for Twitter just to follow it. :p
 
These are great. When I was first was learning about Becker, bout a month ago, I watched everyone of these. Thanks for posting!
 
E2E is the reason I started buying Beckers. He has great information and puts the equiptment through real tests. If it wasn't for him I might have bought a Bear Grylls Gerber instead of the Necker and BK2 I bought...can't thank him enough for saving me.
 
I did watch these when I first started to like the Becker line, really nice stuff...

E2E is one of the few guys I follow online. His reviews are informative and the dude has great taste in gear! I always enjoy watching his vids!!

That was me in my Ethan Becker Halloween costume. It even comes with a plastic ESKabar. Got it at Wal-Mart, 2yrs ago, finally got a chance to wear it.

I like E2E, Adam provides great content. I also like the E2E video series "Cooking with Uncle Ethan."
 
if we're talking KF I'm a member there and have been longer then this one, why I chose one over the other who knows.. may have been a dirty RAT.. :D
 
During the end of the interview, Adam and Ethan discuss the Hedgehog sheaths. Does anyone happen to have 1 or some of these sheaths? They look gorgeous, I wouldn't mind buying one but I'd like to know if they are just too nice to use.

Another question I have concerns sheaths in general. Why is it that great sheaths typically cost more than the knife they are designed to hold?

they're really nice. also they appear to be heavy, bulking, and not for me... seems almost like the sheath ways MORE than the knife. that might not be true, but ... wow.

the nicer the sheath... the more expensive. materials, numbers made (economy of scale), and pretty much 100% handmade.

how much would a BK2 cost if it was hand made, in smaller number? a lot.

bottom line though, i can buy a lot of Beckers and booze for the extra money. nothing wrong with the factory sheath for me.

what's really sad? some expensive knives... don't COME with sheaths. at all. you get a nice piece of oiled cardboard stock :) hee.
