Is there anyone that makes a wet belt sander for knife making?? I was thinking that it would be much easier to get a good finish with the wet sanding.

Also, is there anyone that makes a smaller induction type of heat treating furnace for knives?? One that wouldn't need 480 3 ph.

Is there any way to rubber coat contact wheels?? I have access to a metal lathe to make the wheels out of whatever I choose to make them out of (aluminum, micarta, UHMW), but I have few other ideas how to do that other than to use an inner tube and stretch it around the wheel. Bearings are easy to find...

There were a couple of threads here a whole back talking about devices to strap to your grinder to make them wet capable... try searching for "misters" or "misting systems" or maybe "drip cooling" or the like...
