Hey guys!!
We have all seen the threads about Eric.......hell, even I jumped in one of them.
However.....credit MUST be given when it is due.....and it is due.
I ordered a scale for my Southard from Eric. Sent him a pic of a scale he's made before. The journey with Eric was definitely bumpy, BUT after all is said and done I got a sincere apology, an explanation......NOT an excuse and an absolutely gorgeous scale!!
I also got, as part of the apology, a bad ass Para 2 backspacer, a sweet backspacer for a Manix and a beautiful pair of scales for a Para 2!!!
That's how you apologize!!
I am cool with a person that I never thought I'd be cool with and I'm thankful for that.

Hey Joe, if you don't mind me asking, what was your issue with Eric? Communication? Time to deliver product? I don't think anyone is questioning Eric's talent, but hopefully whatever issues he has in the CS department can be remedied going forward. Those are some really nice looking scales and it would be a shame if Eric doesn't get squared-away and loses his privileges here. Anyhow, I'm glad everything worked out for you; can't wait to see those beautiful scales mounted and posted! :thumbup:

My issues kind of mirrored what has been said before.
Comms, late, flippant attitude.......but all it takes, for me, is a sincere 'my bad' and own that shit. Instead of blaming the rest of the world.
He owned it and made up for it in spades!
Soon as I get them mounted up, I'll take some pics outside so you can really see how sweet these scales look!!

Also, I couldn't wait to post some good news for Eric.....now let's see how many responses a good post gets. The bad ones got quite a few.

I uuhhhh...I mean, I'm happy for you brother, but it DOES have me wondering. Did he just send you some PM2 scales, or had you ordered something for a PM2?
 
Joe I can't thank you enough. I'm glad my verbal and actions showed my apology for the delay.
Very happy you are happy! That's all I ever want for each and every client and friend that deals with me.

My delays have been do to my cf supplier. Mostly lscf and Ctek. Things are still kinda shaky with them. They would of for sure lost my business if there was another supplier. But I'm at their mercy. I ordered material for new orders I got and I never got the materials from them and when I finally did it was months and months later. Hence the delay. So because I can no longer count on them making my orders how they used to with the same turnaround time...they changed staff and suppliers....I'm not only taking orders on what I have in stock only

Yes Joe it will be nice to see if a good thread gets as much attention as the bad threads do.

I already see someone I blocked, someone who has never done business with me but yet always make negative comments about me in every thread, is now here in this thread doing the same exact thing.

Again thank you Joe for taking the time to make this thread!! I profile much faster turnaround times on all future orders and more updates along the way

Eric has always come thru for me and I was counting on him to make things right and he did.

Sorry Quiet......wasn't clear enough my friend.

The only thing I ordered was the Southard scale.
The back spacers and PM2 scales were freebies to back up the apology brother. Eric asked which other Spydies I carry......thought he was just making conversation. Opened up the package today and found what you see in the pic! You have to see those PM2 & Southard scales in the sun light!! They are friggin gorgeous!!

Thanks LW!! Not yet. I lent the Southard to a friend, it'll be back home tomorrow and that scale will go on so fast its head will spin!!! I really can't wait!!!
Think I'm going to put the PM2 scales on the Cutlery Shoppe exclusive. Think that will look so cool!
Will post pics here tomorrow.
