Eric announced 2022 Manix LW with Magnacut and screwed down construction at Shot Show

Saw Eric at Shot Show announce the Manix LW with screws and Magnacut. A new lock and steel to try, AND now I can dream of stabilized burl. Salt will also be offered with Magnacut. Woohoo-

That's probably true, but I would consider buying one if there was the option to disassemble if there was the need, without having to get out the dremel. The fact that they have until this point been riveted has kept me from seriously considering buying the LW.

The G10 variant is not challenging at all. Is there something different in this one?

It might be a PIA, but if I got crap in the pivot or the spring broke or whatever, I want to be able to do something about it. The difficulty of re-assembly doesn't come into it. Personally I'd rather have the option.

Since Eric hinted that it will be in Salt Yellow, it sounds like this will be a regular production model and not a sprint or exclusive. Has this been confirmed? I sure hope so. It's interesting to see a Salt knife with a ball cage lock, but I'm certainly glad it's happening. In fact, this is the ideal knife for me that Spyderco could release in Magnacut, and I know I'm not alone. The Manix LW has always been my perfect Spyderco.
