Eric announced 2022 Manix LW with Magnacut and screwed down construction at Shot Show

That's probably true, but I would consider buying one if there was the option to disassemble if there was the need, without having to get out the dremel. The fact that they have until this point been riveted has kept me from seriously considering buying the LW.
Regular pinned LW de riveted.
If the new MagnaCut uses the same scales.
Re assembly is a PIA

What is the source and sizes of the screws in your de riveted knife? I have 2 I want to do the same to!
Thank you!

Using screws made me consider this model.. But I know LW Natives have no PB washers. How about this one?
I have a new screw-together Manix 2 "Storm Trooper" a GP Knives exclusive with a Rex 45 black DLC coated blade. I haven't disassembled it yet but it has washers that I can see with a light. Waiting for somebody's video first!

Thanks, good to know. Pinned construction and the lack of pb washers are the main reasons I avoid FRN models.

My Sage 5 LW with FRN scales has PB washers but that’s why I’ve stayed away from the Native LW and the (one washer) para 3 LW.

I wasn't too thrilled about the action on my native 5 lw without washers but I recently acquired a Pacific Salt 1 that opens quite smoothly without washers. I think it's more of the design of the native being a small blade with stiff back lock that just doesn't make it much of a flicker. I wonder if the salt manix 2 coming out will have washers since phosphor bronze probably isn't too resistant to salt and corrosion? And if not I'm curious how the action will be.

FWIW, the Spydiechef, which is also a salt category folder, runs on PB washers.

I have a new GP Knives Manix 2 LW with white FRN scales. It has PB washers.
