See if you can get two large water bottles in there - I think I have 28 oz bottles. It will keep you going. And don't forget a water purification unit if you are going to use any water from natural sources.

Eric lives close to me... He and I have become good friends. I find him to be one of the most genuine guys I have ever met. I only wish more people were as welcoming and generous as he and his family.

.... oh ya.... He also makes outstanding sheathes. I'm sure the big Pit is happy, too.
 
Dang, that's mighty generous of Normark. I normally don't care for those kind of sheaths, prefer leather, but I have to say, that that sheath fits your mora PERFECTLY! I love it, it looks great. The Bic and mini mag ones are cool too, but how do they keep from falling out?

What kinda pack is that Pit dog Jr.?
I like that it seems small enough to take on a couple hour hiking trip, but large enough to put more than a minimalist PSK in it, and I like that it has a waterbottle holder.

I'm Very pleased that you like the sheaths..Your mora was a lot of fun to work with. (gotta get me a few of those!!!)

I look at it that a knife is only as good as the sheath it's in. That stock sheath is no good for a young man, needs to be a little more secure and reliable...

I enjoy helping these young guys out, especially a new knife knutt, so Thank you all for the kind words, however I get just as much as kick out of giving something to someone as they get,,getting something...

The payoff is feeling the smile through the return email... :)

The mini mag/mini bic holders are friction fit, and are just held in place by the shape..In the picture above the mini mag isn't into the holder all the way, and should fit either sparker in or out.

Zach.. If the lighter doesn't fit all the way in,,let me know..

No Eric they fit fine it's just that if i put them in all the way i cant get them out and i am still sorting my kit and thinking where everything should go so thats the only reson they aren't in all the way.

Ahh Ok...

Do they feel a little too tight??
You should be able to pull them out by hand,, or at the very least a pair of pliers....

Now that I look at it again,, I may have made them too long,,not enough there to grip,, or my lighter is worn out and needs to be replaced..
I've pressed probably close to 300 holsters off the same lighter,so the fit could be off slightly making the holster tight...

Let me know if it's a problem for you and I'll replace them..

And no problem at all :)
