Just wanted to post about my first buying experience on these forums. I've been looking for a good knife that I can beat up for a month or two now. I saw that Erik was selling a Buck/Strider 880 Tanto. Not wanting to rush to a purchase I messaged Erik on Aol Instant Messanger and he talked to me about the knife and answered stupid newbie question after stupid newbie question, graciously, and with a good attitude. I really appreciated Erik taking time out of his day to help me out.
To make a long story short I decided to buy the knife. Erik shipped it out immediately after he recieved my payment and shipped it Prioriety Mail, we hadn't even discussed this, I guess its just another perk of dealing with a great guy. The knife arrived today packaged extremely well, the box was taped up to insure security and the knife was carefully wrapped. I took the blade out of the box and shaved hair off my arm immediately after opening it. So it came secure and sharp, what more could I ask for?
The deal also included a Leatherman micra in a custom made kydex sheath by onscene tactical. This was also in great condition, Erik said it had been used but it barely shows any wear. Its a great multi tool and already getting accustomed to its new home on my keyring.
If anyone has the pleasure of dealing with Erik I suggest they take the opportunity. Thanks again Erik for making my first buying experience here a very enjoyable one.
