Good morning folks.

This is little vest Bowie that I finished up a while back. The handle is a beautiful chatoyant piece of stabilized Ringed Gidgee from Mark Farely at BurlSource. The distally tapered W2 blade shows an active hamon in the forced patina... not an easy trick.

The price for this one is $530 shipped within the US. Please contact me concerning shipping outside the US. Buyer is responsible for determining the legality of this knife within their state or country of residence. I prefer payment via Paypal. If interested -- or if you just have some questions or comments -- feel free to shoot me a PM or email. My goal is 100% satisfaction; so if for any reason the buyer is not happy with this knife, please ship it back undamaged within 30-days and I'll send a full refund.

NOTE: The price above includes the sheath pictured.

Here's a quick video... I apologize for the poor lighting.

Thanks for looking.

I just peed in my pants a bit...what a magnificent piece, & I love me some Ringed Gidgee - I imagine this hyper dense wood allowed this blade to be so wide & keep your balance point in that ideal spot - bravo!!

The dense wood helps... but with a blade this wide, there are a few other factors that help with balance. Most important is incorporating a significant distal taper. Keeping the grinds thin also helps, as well at metal that is removed at the clipped portion of the blade and the fuller. All the little things add up.

Thanks for the kind words. Sorry about you peeing your pants.
