Ernest Wright in stock at Olde Towne Cutlery

Ok, so I know this isn’t technically a knife manufacturer in the sense that most people think of knives, but Ernest Wright is a manufacturer of some of the finest Cutlery products in the world. We recently brought in a nice selection of their product; scissors. Which is basically two “knives” on a pivot. We were immediately hit with orders, and the reason why is because of the story of this company. I could write it here, but this video produced by a talented film maker and the University of Sheffield does a much better job. When originally released, this video went viral all over the world. It’s an amazing story. I heard about it from Matt Martin at Vehement Knives and he was right; it is a phenomenal story. Everyone interested in historic companies in the Cutlery business needs to watch. You will learn what a “Putter” is, and no it’s not a golfing term See the video here
