• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

    Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

I have a long post I update and today it gave me a message that it has more than 10,000 characters. Please expand this.

It's the first post of this thread:

Thank you.

It means you hit the limit (ie: it is too long) and should break your message into more then one post

He's saying he wants it expanded B Backyard

I don't think they will on account of spam bots as they could come in and muck things up greatly but they might expand it?

I know that but that post gets continously updated.

By the way, it works fine on other forums not using XenForo and instead using phpBB and vBulletin.

I don't think the platform is the issue I believe it is a setting. I would consider putting that info into an externally hosted document and linking it within the original post.

@Spark Please change this setting from 10000 to 15000 characters. Thank you.

In XenForo:
1- Go to AdminCP -> Options -> Messages :
First option will be:
Maximum Message Length
2. Change it

Any chance this setting can be changed? Please advise either way so I don’t bother anymore.
