go to the main blade forum discussion group here; you might have to click back for "responses for 10 days" instead of 5 days, cause it's down the list aways. i had a post up on "escalator-opinions" and there are about 23 responses of different opinions. it seems to be a cool knife, excellent lock anyway. most members seem to discuss nerve destructions and such. kali, pressure point work, guess with some training you could use it rather decently. made to be used with the blade still unopened. can open either regularly or by dragging open against opponent or something else (this i haven't seen-check the posts). unfortunately, they said they are discontinuing the production of it. so i may end up with a pocket hobbit or maybe to look low-key a Pioneer II with upswept point. To find good dealers- check on the links page at the opening page of BF (you know, on the big kukri!); i think MJ&S Knives has gotten good reviews. also Discount Knives seems like a good deal. i was amazed at how much you can save this way on a new knife of superior quality: i think you can get away with a pocket hobbit for around $118 or so (not sure, Discount shows you how much off they charge of the REKAT knives-when you do the math you get a pleasant surprise at the price). the locks on these REKATs should last a long, long time-at least as long as the Tootsie Roll pop. seriously, i think they can cycle open 25,000 times; i think that's the number i saw on one of the posts. pretty awesome. more info on that post in the main discussion group...
