Never used but the tip is micro blunted on one side of the very tip. Actually, I don't know for sure if it is blunted or not because if you stare at it long enough it disappears but I'd rather error on the safe side. It's small enough to disappear almost into the grind lines of the edge and will probably go away on the first sharpening. Basically it's so small that it's only on one side of the very tip and you can't feel it. I tried to capture it in the pictures but you can't tell from pictures even if looking directly at it.
I also did a very light stropping just to clean up the black coating residue that was left over on the edge when they made this knife.
If you're price checking this knife, it can be confusing but basically they are different prices depending on the sheath setup. The lowest priced versions are the ones that don't come with a sheath and the highest priced ones come with the polymer molded sheath, clip attachment and Cordura Molle backing like this one.
