I like it. Taking out the Roto-Block seems to be in keeping with the K.I.S.S. rule, which is always a big plus in my book

Gonna be hard to choose between this one and the ZT-0550 when it comes out... Man that's a tough choice. :(

Looks like I've finally found a folder to unseat my Blur. Nice work to you guys and the folks over at Lionsteel.

Can't wait for this. I have some serious off the map back packing trips being planned for this year. I'm going to beat the hell out of it, spring, summer, fall and winter, take pictures and videos and show the world what ESEE can do with a folder.

I'm diggin that folder

I totally agree now w/ a knife's function as a tool and not a "Safe Queen" or "Flipper"

I've got a few collecting dust and now I'm questioning Why?

These might have to go up on the exchange here shortly

Every time I see the pocket clip, I think it has the option for high or low-ride. :p

dunno where you're seeing this, look at the G10 side. there's two holes at either end, one set for tip up, one set for tip down. i'm guessing the lock side has matching holes.

that means if you want a deep ride clip they need at least one more hole at each end.

the clip has a double set of slots... one slot is to access the screws that mount the clip, and i think the other slot is just for looks.

the HEST/F has a clip that mounts using the glass breaker, or a smooth version of it, and that makes it a low rider clip.

I'm curious as to why a lockback locking mechanism would not be the best choice with this folder?

Any news about producer? Is it really going to be LionSteel? And what about materials - blade steel, frame, coating etc.?

Simply great knife, I´m looking forward to have one!

I'm really happy that you're not going with the RotoBlock.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the RotoBlock itself, but in my opinion it's not necessary and it's just another thing that could mess up.

It accidentally engages sometimes and pisses me off ;) Also, I'm real worried that under hard use, mud and dirt will cause it to not turn properly which could lead to problems. Ok for 90 percent of people who carry a folder but the 10 percent that get in a nasty environment it could cause problems

I am unfamiliar with this feature and wondered what about it you had issue with. On the surface, it sounds like a great feature. It seems to me that the above 10% of people that could really use it are the same 10% that would have it fail.

Well this has solve my folder dilemma, now I just have to wait for it. It looks like a great folder.
