I wanted firesteel larger than my 1/4" x 2" Light My Fire. So, I bought a 3/8" x 4" rod from firesteel.com and added a custom cocobolo handle to match my ESEE-4 Scales.

Wow, that it really beautiful work that you do!

I'm kind of speechless... lol they just look REALLY good! Seems like that picture should be in a catalogue somewhere

That looks amazing and i am serious. those handles are absolutely beautiful

Are you selling them?

You really do some damn fine work! Your 4 and firesteel both look great.

Looks really nice! Do you have any problems with oil/resin seeping? If not....did you have to do anything "special" to prevent it?

Thanks! I use tung oil finish (has a bit of polyurethane in there) and top it off with Toms 1/3 military gun wax. No seeping!

I really like my stock scales due to their utilitarian nature, but DAMN! Those cocobolo scales look really nice on the knife! Good work.
