ESEE-4 and Cocobolo Firesteel

That are awesome. Great work and thanks for sharing. I love the ESEE line and have not purchased a knife of another brand for some time. When I look at other brands, the one I find I check out is Bark River beacuse they offers such an awesome selection of both knives and handles. I know they have a great reputation, but to me the ESEE are just such great values I have never purchased a Barkie. However, I could be really happy if I could add the occasional handle like the one in your picture to one or two my ESEEs. Let us know if you start making custom handles like those.
 
those are NICE scales. so much so that i immediately thought to myself, "i need to buy an ESEE-4 NOW". then i realized that it doesn't come with such awesome scales (not that it isn't a great knife on its own merits). i've just spent the last ten seconds being disappointed. great work :D
 
That looks great. Cocobolo is always popular.

You should try a set in Walnut Burl, that's always been a personal favorite.
I have some custom grips for my air pistol in that. :)
 
I really appreciate the kind words! I am making pair for an esee-4 in cooked/stabilized birds eye maple and will post pics when I'm done!
