ESEE-4 vs. Swamp Rat Rodent 4

I'm sure the MIA OP made his decision two years ago.

Yet, put me down with the ESEE 4.

Just what I was going to say. This thread is over 2 years old. Either he chose, or he didn't. Just for future reference that maybe it might help somebody out there, I'd go with the SR personally. I've had both Esee and Swamp Rat knives, and for me personally, the SR wins just due to the handles. No contest. They simply are much more comfortable to my hands.

I'm in that situation now so thanks for the input. I'm at Blade show. I received one of the cards for a Rodent 4 this years version. Still deciding. I'm not finding a lot of info on the difference between this version and prior years. I like the Esee 4 but the handle is not as comfortable for me so I'm exploring other options. I'm leaning heavily towards the new Esee Camp-lore RB3 for comfort, no black coating, and it comes with a sheath.
