Sorry if this is in the wrong place for this. Browsing through the trade section this afternoon, I came across Paratrooper1989 with a Leatherman Mut for trade. To make a long story short, as you will see from the email I will soon insert, this fellow is soon going into harms way. He's wanting an Esee 5. Just thought maybe somebody might know of someone who would like to trade a combat knife for a black LM Mut and help a soldier out.

The good news is that this young man is awaiting an Esee 5 from a WWII veteran who was also a paratrooper. Dontcha just love happy endings? :)

I would think that ESEE would fall all over themselves to get a "Test ESEE 5" into this soldier's hands. Hell, I'll buy him one if someone knows how to get it to him. All my contact information is below in my sig line.

Even though it was phrased differently, when I saw the sent from Germany part I thought it was in the right place.

Then I had to re-read it a few times to see where the email started and stopped. :D Good giggle.
 
It seems to be working just fine in the Trade forum. It seems to be more a case of want than urgent need based on the OPs own words in that forum.
