Hey Sorry i didn't post this in 'Knife laws' section, just need an answer ASAP. Is the Esee-5 legal to carry on your belt? Not for camping or hunting etc. Just for walking around / EDC

Check 46.01 and 46.02. In short, an illegal knife is a knife with a blade > 5.5", a knife designed for throwing, a dagger/dirk/stiletto/poniard, bowie knife, sword, spear, or a knife that opens automatically by a spring, force of gravity, or centrifugal force.
yep thats the way the laws read. Not that most cops are all that familiar with them, and some jurisdictions may have their own separate rules as well.

Yeah I bet, I live in Fort worth. I don't think they have their own knife laws
