ESEE 5 v. Becker BK2 v. Fallkniven A1

That's a productive day.

I've had all three blades over the years, & the one I have left is the A1. Big fan of laminated steel.

I've had a Condor Rodan for over a month now and I carry it as my heavy duty outdoor knife. I think that it's a great knife at a very low price. For tougher jobs I use a Cold Steel Rifleman's Hawk.

I have used the ESEE 5, Becker BK2 and Fallkniven A1. As mentioned above, the A1 is really a whole 'nother animal from the BK2 and ESEE 5. I'm not particularly enamored with either the ESEE 5 or the BK2. They are too thick and do not handle well in my hands. I like the BK2 better though, because the handle is better and with prolonged use you'll really feel the difference in your hand.

My current fixed blade of choice is the BK-16. I don't really use a fixed blade all that much right now though. I use a folder paired with a parang made from a lawnmower blade.
