ESEE 7 in the future?

wow, when i said this, everybody seemed to think it was pointless.

ETA - what would really get me worked up would be an ESEE Waki :D

ESEE 7 in .25 = Dream knife. I love my 6 but a thicker blade would be much more ideal, same with the Junglas. I'm sure others feel different though. Guess I'm just a sucker for knives that are built like tanks.

Hopefully in the near future we'll see
ESEE 7 in .25
ESEE Kukri in 5/16th
ESEE throwing knives. Come on you know deep down you want them ;)

Not too sure about an ESEE waki. It would be sick but Rowen would have to give it a crazy differential if they went with 1095. S7 and I'm down. Swords are just too much fun.

I believe he means blade thickness. I wish ESEE would give up the choil or make it a preference. I really think choils limit the functionality/power of a knife.

I'd hate to see an ESEE sword .... useless , unless your a ninja :D

...Which most of us here happen to be Tony. I can think of maybe one or two people here on the ESEE boards who aren't ninjas. Let me think, people who aren't ninja's here, there's that guy, and... that other guy, and that's about it. You must be slacking on your ninjanet training if you can't tell just from the posts that we here are all ninja masters.

God bless,
Adam

Oh, and no I don't want a 7, I just don't see a point in it personally. I think Becker makes something in that size though. Ask Moose, I know he drinks from the dark koolaid.

I'd buy one if it had the same blade as the Junglas (No Choil!).

I couldn't agree more. Even with the blade length on my ESEE 6, I'm finding the choil to be a completely useless design feature. If an ESEE 7 were offered, with no choil of course, I'd trade my 6 off for one in a heartbeat.

YEP....YES... and 4 sure!!!!

I'm done with my collection, I'll probably get one more ESEE-5..and another IZULA
but a ESEE-7 .25 with a choil........!!!!!!!!

Or a hog murderer! :D Hunting swords were traditionally used for hundreds of years for dispatching wounded game. George Washington's sword was actually of a hunting sword style.

I think an Esee-8 is a more appropriate size considering the 6 has a 6.5 inch blade. The Esee-8 should be 3/16 or 1/4 inch thick, saber ground "for strength",and have "NO CHOIL".

The ESEE 6 does measure 6.5" inches from the handle, but it's actually only 5.75" of cutting edge. An ESEE 7 with a 7" cutting edge and no choil would be quite a jump up from the ESEE 6. 3/16" thickness would be fine with me, as it's still plenty strong without additional unnecessary weight.

7 or 8 would be great. Bowie sized but with the 6 proportions. :D
3/16 with a sabre grind would make a great user blade.
On a blades that size, a finger choil might be a good thing.

ESEE will never be interested in a sword and I highly doubt we will do a 7 inch blade 1/4" thick.
