Ok today I got around to doing this. I didnt use the bamboo cause its hot out but it was going to be used as a pin like the brass tubing. I wrapped it with 80lb spyder line. Somewhat deburred the pin and tapered the stick towards the tip.. Next time ill use a hobby knife and a needle file so it will look neater and of course Ill wrapped it all the way. The shaft is a 3/8 dowel rod (i think) Couldn't find any wooden arrows until today but I already had this. I used a hollow pin because I wanted to be able to run the string throught it. Im sure and soild pin with some pine pitch would work. Probaly don't even need to pin it. Anyway this is just something I was playing around with and its a W.I.P. I plan on making and few better ones and take them Hog hunting when it cools off. Thanks.
