Thanks Ray! The side-release version offers a quicker release than the original. The arrowhead can be quickly removed with a kind of a side pull. The original version offers slightly greater retention I suppose but it must be withdrawn straight back. I prefer the side release version but the original is by far more popular.
 
What a neat idea! I have an arrowhead and as trying to figure out how to carry it without slicing the heck out of my fingers/hand.

I hear ya Bud! My exact thoughts when I bought three of them last November. I have been playing around with Kydex for years so I decided to make some sheaths for mine. Then I figured other folks will have need for them too so I've been making/selling AH1 sheaths ever since.
 
I got one of the side release sheaths late last year & love it.
It can be mounted on any kydex sheath with standard 1/4" rivets & be ready to go.
Mounted on a sheath,carried in a pocket,in a tin or pouch,or around your neck,
it's a nice simple solution for carrying the eese arrowhead.

I don't have an arrowhead either but looks like I'll be ordering one.:D
I missed out on Sparks free esee arrowhead gold membership drive by an hour.:(

I would like an original in orange if possible.:cool: I will send an email in the next few days. I have to go to the bank and put money in my paypal account. Thanks
