Well, to make a long and boring story short and sweet, my new ESEE Laser Strike arrived in perfect condition except for the sheath missing its tension screw assembly. After sending an email to ESEE, I got a surly response back saying it would never leave the factory that way and that either the dealer removed it or I did. Regardless who was at fault, they were willing to send me replacement parts at no charge. The tension screw assembly arrived today after a two week journey through the post, so all is good. Now I can actually carry and use the knife in the field to see if it will perform as well as my ESEE 6 and Junglas.
