ESEE / Dave Canterbury

REV DEVIL - LMAO!!!!

Anyone know where to find pics of that new Esee? Read they pulled it from the site.

Thanks evltcat - I read the post from '07 and read what Spark wrote.

ZERO Strider knives for me..

Nuff said.

I guess the difference for me is that at least Canterbury owned it and asked to be forgiven, and he's paying the price down the road. There is a smidgeon of honor in that.

I can't walk on water and never knew anyone who could.

Okay, a lapse in judgement. Lie, or worse. Regret it, apologize, own it and the consequences, and move forward trying to earn the trust back.

I'd buy the DC knife. If Esee builds it, they enough to do it and that's good enough for me.

PICS anyone?

While it's been removed from the list of 'camp Lore" knives on ESEE's page, there are still a couple of pictures of it there. Middle pic on the right is the "Gibson", I believe, the rest appear to be the "DC6".

That it is no longer listed on their website, makes me suspicious that we may never see it in production. :(

Anyone know the specs on this? Blade length,OAL length, thickness, etc? If they don't jack the price too high I might be interested.

There is still talk about this on the ESEE forum, I figure it's just a matter on time.

I just ordered a Jeff White knife in this shape- thin stock with a 4" blade to check out. I resisted long enough! :D

That seems to be the consensus. At least he didn't make himself out to be a tier 1 spec ops ninja.

He's admitted to it and apologized about it. His fabrication was believable given what he knows.

That said the camplore. Knives should be our around october from what i hear

Wasn't there a Blind Horse model as well? May be an option if the new edition doesn't come to fruition.

Isn't he the guy that got fired from duel survivor for lying about his background?

I am surprised. Now you have this guy and Strider to holler about. Gosh, how I've missed reading your rants. You can muck up the direction of a thread about as well as anyone I've read...
Whatever happened to talking about KNIVES?

I like the design too. As long as it's not inflated in price because of Dave, I will probably buy.

That looks like a no nonsens bushcraft knife to me ;)
Loved Dave on that show, not so much that new guy...

Looks simple and well executed.
Dave apologized and has done what he can to make peace with those he lied to. People mess up. I can forgive the person that sees their mistake, stops the behavior and learns from the experience. I think involvement in the TV industry/ Hollywood / fame, etc can really cloud some peoples judgement for a time.
