The only reason the folder might be Italian is because there weren't any American knifemakers eager to take on a folder project.
ESEE fixed blade knives are USA made and will continue to be USA made.
 
Ok then, what if the pack knife is the folder?

I'm the OP and I clearly voted yes, so I consider myself obligated at this point. I just want to make it clear now that a foreign pack knife would be a deal breaker for me, that is all. I'm praying Katie is right and it's Rowen.

I promise that there will NOT be as much input on this as there was last time. So yes, I'm sure. ;) Not trying to be a bitch about it but last time it was a TOTAL nightmare!
 
The Mrs. is correct. We're going to nail down what the knife will be between us, the mods will announce it, take the money and ship. Simple.

Sounds reasonable.
That should reduce the PITA factor of it ... (though I am somewhat afraid that it'll only take away 50% of it.)
 
Okay, I guess my question was a stupid one. Systematically, I bet I can deduce where one keeps a pocket knife. :D
 
The "pack" knife was a special edition knife we had done. We're considering doing it again. I loved Diz's answer though.
 
I would most definitely go for a "Pack" knife, and a "Belt" knife come to think of it!

I realise that these things are a pain to organise, but it would be appreciated by the majority. Just try to ignore the whining minority (even though they make enough noise to sound like the majority), that's what I always try to do!

I wasn't around for the first one but if its as big a headache as this thread is, then the MRs is a saint!

I don't have a clue how things get so confusing. I would think that before ANY money is requested everyone would know what they are buying. FOR THE RECORD: the pack knife will not be a folder. Wow.
