ESEE in this pic?

I found this pic in another forum where someone was pointing out the Magpul AFG on this Soldiers M-4. Look at his sidearm, beside of that is a knife. It looks to me like an ESEE-3 or ESEE-4. What do you guys think?

It's in front of the gun on his right leg on the drop holster. It's a little hard to see but looks like the pommel of an ESEE

I'm no expert, but I would hazard a guess that it is an ESEE 5. Maybe?

no way thats a 5, it would be way to heavy for carry

Looks like an RC-3Mil to me. The holes on the sheath line up exactly with the Safariland 6004 Drop leg holster.

The first pic of an ESEE knife I saw was attached to a guy’s Safariland thigh rig on arfcom. Someone said “Is that an RC-3?” the owner said yes and my RAT/ESEE buying started from there after a month of research.

Any yes, I think it’s an ESEE.

I found this photo. It's clearly an older RAT-3. Interestingly enough, the dude has one of RYP's hats on.
