ESEE knife decision help

hey guys, im new to the bladefourm and was wondering if any one could help me pick a knife for general survival. i trying to pick between a esee rc6 and a esee rc4 with an ontario 12in machete. thanks

Well since you're pairing it up with a 12 inch machete I'd go with the 4.
If you could only have one, I'd make it the 6.

yup - the 4 is a great companion for a big knife or machete.
(don't get me wrong, the 6 is one of my all time favorite outdoor blades, but if you have a 12" chopper, it's overkill.
another option you may not have considered is an izula 2 - same length handle, shorter blade, nearly weightless.

Same here, since your pairing it with a Machete, I'd take an RC4.
