It's like seeing your buddy on tv. Did Jeff and team know about this?

yes they know ,but it was an esee machete with dave's logo on it same with the ESEE firekit
Dave & Jeff are Buddies
go to Dave's websiteor facebook and you'll see the same machete & firekit but instead of ESEE logo it has Dave's logo ,everything is cool ,Jeff gave Dave a few items at blade to use for the show

I saw the ESEE logo on it. His Pathfinder logo must be on the other side

Sweet, I gave Dave that machete at BLADE. Alot of people handing him gear at the show hoping to get some TV time and he was honestly thankful for the machete as he was going to leave the next morning to shoot this episode.

Sweet I will look for it. It starts in three min. here.

Yup I see it. Cody and Dave both seam like cool dudes. Cody maybe lives about an hour from me. I might take one of his classes someday.

Just caught tonights episode and thought it was the ESEE machete, had to check in here to be sure.

Actually first that I saw it I wasn't sure if it's ESEE or Pathfinder, but a later shot confirmed that it was the ESEE Lite Machete

That sure was a good show watching the Esee machete get a good workout!
It might be that we will see other Esee products next season on Dual Survivor.

Caught glimpses of it a few times and then a good shot of it. Good to see ESEE get it's due on TV. Awesome.

I finally caught the show. Talk about your odd couples, a barefoot hippie and a soldier. But as I watched, I gained a lot of respect for both of them and their skills. I saw the Lite machete being used to make the submarine. Those dugouts might hold an 80 lb native, buy Cody is a big man. But they got that outrigger raft to float, and off they went. Bear Grylls could have just run back to safety! JK, these guys are good. Nice to see they chose some good gear, like ESEE.
