Brownell's sells laquer sticks in red, white, black and I think some other colors. Just degrease, rub it into the engraving and wipe off the excess with a paper towel and windex. Either put it in the oven or sit it out in the hot sun to set.

Very easy to do, and the lacquer sticks will last you a long time. :)
 
I'm interested. Wondering if Hughes Products would engrave existing recs? Say one with a gator grip?

Huges manufactures the lowers and Harford Engraving (Jim) does the engraving work. The list is for those that would like both.

If you have a receiver that is blank I am sure that Jim would be happy for you to ship it to him and have him engrave it for you.

Did you want me to put you on the list?

Cricketdave or Captain Spaulding, how do you have any idea how Jim and your FFL did the transaction. Mine said that Jim would have to fax his FFL info to mine and vise versa and then it could be shipped. Any info would be great. If you dont know, I will just try and contact Jim.

I was a bit more proactive when I ordered mine. I contacted my local FFL and gave them Jim's info and asked them to contact him regarding the shipment and I gave their info to Jim and asked him to contact them. When you place your order just give Jim a ring and give him the info and he will call them up...or you can be neurotic about the details and do what I did.

It worked out just fine for me.

i sent him my ffl phone number ... cause thats what my local ffl said do... shouldnt be a real issue.

Btw paid for mine just now.
 
Well I'm still waiting to here back from Jim on things. Hopefully will order one soon.
