It also says they will not cover damage from throwing which is not what Esee says at all.
This is what they do say:
"ESEE KNIVES ARE NOT THROWING KNIVES! They are hardened to a higher Rockwell than throwing knives and will most likely break if thrown, possibly harming the user. So, do yourself and your ESEE knife a favor and DO NOT throw it. Using any knife not meant to be thrown as a throwing knife is idiotic! We would rather idiots not buy our knives."
Makes sense to me. I wouldn't want idiots buying my product either. There was one thread somewhere where a guy complained that he was called an idiot for throwing his knife that broke. They covered it but asked him not to buy anymore of their products because he was an idiot. Love it!
I use my knives with these best warranties more and harder than my other knives because of how the companies stand behind their products, Esee included.
