No thanks necessary. They're customers, end users and supporters and we do our best to support everyone one of you.

And I am working hard as I can to put the USA made version into the pipeline.

I'm glad someone is!!! :D I know my boy would love one for his soon to be available blue izzy! Seems more his size. I think I'll just get a maxpedition falcon for me. But I'm sure I'll end up with an ESEE pack for myself either way. And Jeff and Mike know the rest of you will too!

I'm tellin ya, Dale at the Knfie Connection had a special run of bluw Izulas made or was thinking about making them. Contact him.

that was a grim reminder of being at the trough and being trampled on...disappointed the search continues for a pack kit..had 6 in cart ready for check out denied...can anyone recommend a alternate pack kit please pm me info?

Lost Mountain still makes the original pack kit.
I've heard good things about the maxped janus, as well.
Or wait a couple of months for the new ESEE sewing shop to get up to speed and send those.

I did, I did! Remember, he made the announcement on the other thread. I thanked you for the heads up but didn't want to make my own announcement before Dale let everybody know. He then followed up after talking to me by phone and said he should have them available very soon...he's just waiting on the sheaths. So again, u da man! My son will have his blue izzy soon...then a small ESEE pack to carry his other ESEE survival gear. The look on his face is gonna be priceless. Just waiting for Dale's announcement that they are available on his site. Thanks for pointing me to him!

Actually Rowen is partnering with us on some of our soft goods so their input is also being put into the USA made designs. And trust me, anything Shon Rowen is part of will be right....

Are those ready at the order?
Regarding a Busse Special offer sheath, I had a looonnng wait with LMIW.
The wait didn't bother me so much, but being told a "couple of weeks" (that came and went) more than once... well, that did bother me a little.

I don't know if they have any ready stock or not -- and yeah, I was part of the footlong order as well. They REALLY got swamped on that one - I think they didn't believe all the interest in the thread before they opened it up for orders.

Hells bells! That's all I need to hear:thumbup: Every Rowen blade I own or have held has been flawless. Their packs will likely be bombproof, that is if they will be handling those particular soft goods. Thanks for the info Jeff.

The pricing on these Columbian packs was pretty spot on I think, I really hope it stays basically the same price for the US made ones. Much more than that and it get's kinda iffy for me and probably a lot of other folks.

Agreed. The price point was exactly what I expected, that's why I was going to go with one of each.

Good thing I missed out. I haven't been waiting for months and months or anything. ARRRGH.

Ordered mine, a large one in black. Can't wait to get it. I don't know if this helped or not, but in the minutes before the packs went on sale, I got one of those little titanium emergency scraper-type knife blade deals, thus I had a shopping cart established when I bum rushed the pack kit.
