Love that sheath and knife setup with the two blades system. Maybe even the Candiru as a second knife for a little lighter weight package.
The Candiru would be a great secondary as well.Love that sheath and knife setup with the two blades system. Maybe even the Candiru as a second knife for a little lighter weight package.
Sweet setup, how do you like the orange scales?
I was thinking the same thing. It just serves the purpose better in the woods for not losing a knife. I know that very well after taking a nice buck and carrying a desert camouflage knife, I field dressed that buck and set the knife down to reposition the deer. I couldn't find that knife for at least 20 minutes in the fall leaves. I was given that knife by a buddy who was in Iraq at the time and was quite upset at myself. Luckily, I located it, and my buddy made it back safely. So orange handles would have helped in my situation greatly.I hate orange.. but for field use it serves well !!
I like the thinner bladeThought about getting a 3 looks to be pretty handy.
Well, I just got a new 5 and was putting some tung oil on the handle to darken them and Dam if she didn't bite me on the finger. Well, I guess she's mine for the long haul now.![]()
