Great set up! You know there is a web site dedicated to guys who make/sew/design their own tactical oudoors gear (vests,pouchs,packs). I can't for the life of me remember the name of it but you might want to look it up. They have all the places where you can buy HARD to find materials, military grade and patterns. Maybe one of the guys one here will read this and know the name of it.
