This early Rat was a bit rough when I received it. The coating had gashes in it, and rust was forming in the RC-4 logo. I acid etched the logos, and stripped the coating. The acid went under the coating a bit where the rust was, but otherwise, it turned out pretty well. The dingy micarta scales have been replaced with blue and black G10 extended scaled from TKC. They really are a great upgrade, especially for L/XL hands. Edge has been convexed. Original sheath and scales are included. Sold! Thanks Blade Forums!
