ESEE Stainless?

So where are they?There was supposed to be a ESEE-4 SS come out in june.Any word on that?

plenty of fans just no date on when the stainless for will be released. Last I heard they were working on getting the heat treat just right. Mr. Rowen takes his time making it the best he can.

I'd love to see a SS ESEE. Better yet (not gonna happen, but...) a stainless ESEE with a 5" (not 5.5) spear point blade. That would be sweet.

While I don't think that the quality would be up to ESEE, you could check out the Ontario Blackbird SK-5. It's got 154CM steel, which IMO is better than 440C, and a 5-inch spearpoint blade, with m
icarta handles. Like I said, I don't think it'd be as good as it would be if ESEE made it, but that knife seems to fit all your specifications.

i'd rather see d2 in esee knives personally... not "stainless" but more so, and close enough

3V would be awesome, maybe some of the shock resistant steels or M4.....or even M2 at 5" long and 1/4" thick.....


But since the 1095 is working out so well, I definately see the natural progression of incorporating a stainless version. As long as they can keep it tough and impact resistant, I think it will be awesome. There's got to be some stainless steels that are tough these days...
