Welcome to the forums!!
I'm 17, so I'm a "youngin" too haha. I was born in costa rica, so I've always owned a machete, a knife, a .22, a fishing pole, and a spear gun. I got to shoot my dads ak47 in the back yard when I was 11. I started actually collecting with a sog twitch 2, and then get a kershaw, and I've moved my all the way up to a busse. I still have yet to get an esee, but that will deffinately be my next knife
At my high school, I'm friends with all the AP's (assistant principles) and they all know that I carry a knife to school every day, and most of my teachers do too. My HVAC teacher trades with me sometimes as a matter of fact, and also sharpened my knives before my sharp maker. I've only gotten a knife taken away one at school, and I got it back at the end of the day. The school district also blocks bladeforums and esee at school too 
so I have to go find new proxies every day -.- but this has to be my favorite forum, no matter what anyone says, the sarcasm is hillarious

Too powerful of a knife for her first. Figured I'd start her off with something dull, rusts constantly, and will break before a year is up. That way she learns how to sharpen, maintain a knife, and what the limits are. She's 8, giving her a Becker would be like giving her a lightsaber. Got to get them "starter" knives first.
