Esee vs Rat?

The first one is probably what you're looking for. It's the plain blade. The second one has a sharpened clip point (the spine of the blade is sharpened from the tip, towards the handle a few inches) and the last one is serrated and has a sharpened clip point.

To add to the above post just be careful with the sharpened clip point. In some states that equates to a "double edged blade" or a "dagger" and is a no-no.

Good to know. How does the pricing seem to you guys? Its got free shipping so thats nice but I wish they had other handle colors besides grey linen.

ESEE doesn't offer different handle colors, that is the only one it is available in. Unless you meant ESEE itself and not TKC.

Yep the first one is more of the all around the camp or anything blade. The 6 is a Great blade design, and it comes shavin sharp, and you will have a very hard time to get it dull. Edge retention is unreal. And TKC is a great way for your order. You will be quite pleased soon:D enjoy edgy

I don't think you can go wrong with either the ESEE-6 plain edge or the Izula knives. You'll probably end up with both in the long run.

With the free shipping, T-K-C probably has some of the better prices. (especially for me...see location. ) and great service.
