Over a year ago I contacted Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin about designing an ESEE folder. After a few discussions, Jeff and Mike Perrin had agreed to design a folder and we came up with the name Zancudo. Once the product was a for sure go, we talked to BlueRidge Knives and they agreed to have this knife manufactured. We just received the first sample from them with our EXCLUSIVE orange handle, and let me tell you this folder has one of the sharpest blades I have ever seen from Taiwan. Mike and Jeff have outdone themselves on this amazing folder, with it's ability to get you out of a bind in the woods while camping or hiking or for simple everyday use. We are so excited to be a part of this first EVER folder from ESEE knives.

These knives were manufactured by Proceeding Manufacture in Taiwan, which is owned and operated by Paul Lin. One of the leading manufactures in Taiwan because of the quality of knives they produce.

Knifeworks is proud to be part of this design from the beginning.

I think this will be a winner,

Roger Claunch

The Zancudo, which is the Spanish word for mosquito, is the first ever folder from ESEE. The blade resembles ESEE's Laser Strike fixed blade with it's Drop Point Blade Style. It also features textured nylon handles and dual thumb studs. I think this folder will be compatible for everyone.
