It looks like the black finish on yours is smoother than the one I got...it was more rough looking.

Were kind of at the mercy of the distributor as far as the coating goes. Some runs come in smooth, some rougher.

Yeah, I was kinda surprised at the slickness of the lacquer. The only time i dropped it was when i was trying to look cool in front of my friends. I tried the "snap it open" maneuver and the damned thing slipped right out of my hand.
