Hi- is there any money to be made by selling ESEE knives at a knife and gun show?

Are you a distributor for ESEE? If so I would say the answer is yes, but then you wouldn't be asking the question.

Seriously though, most dealers and distributors have to sell through a variety of venues including knife/gun shows in order to turn a decent profit. I suppose you could make some money just focusing on knife/gun shows but don't expect it to support you. Research what it would cost you in travel expenses and booth fees and then determine how many knives you would have to sell to be in the black. I have not done this research myself but I would think it would not pay unless you travel the country doing it full time and carry more than just ESEE knives. Customers want variety.

I bought an ESEE 4 at a gun show and it was about the same price that can be found online.
To be successful at one of those you need variety, as addylo said. I always see a wide selection of wares, from CRK, Emerson, Spyderco, and Benchmade all the way down to the lesser brands like Mtech and Smith and Wesson knives. Based on what ive seen id bet they are more successful at selling the latter in terms of volume. Knife nuts arent common at those events so most people are drawn to cheap.
