Esee3 vs Rwt 3 handle length?

Just a quick question. Is the handle length the same on the esee 3 and the older rat 3 by Ontario? To get a good four finger grip? I have the rat but I was curious how the handles compare. Any comments appreciated. :thumbup: I have also heard that the overall fit and finish of the esee is better since it is made by Rowen.

I'm sure there was a tread related to the same question. Use the search option to find it. I recall it mentioned some differences (in size) between the handles.

I handled a Esee3 next to the Ontario model years ago. In hand there are lots of differences.

If you mean the older Randals Adventure Training RC-3 then yes. It is the same. Scales can be swapped. If it is a the RAT-3 that ontario currently makes still then I don't know but I doubt it.

The ESEE/RC-3 handle is 3/8" longer than the Ont. RAT-3.
