Today i got my Izula scales.

The plan from the start was to fit them to the EsKaBar. Luckily they were abit bigger that the Eskabar handle cutout. And even if they didnt fit the Eskabar, id have mounted them on my Izula. But with abit of filing and patience it worked!

I really like how it handles now. If any of you are considering these micarta scales, i strongly recommend them!

Im LOVING this knife!! :D

ah, cute :)

mine were a handful. none right now though. was always amused by their behaviors... esp picking them up by the neck skin, and how to trick them into toe-nail trimming :)

Believe me, ours can be a handful too :eek:! Never saw animals exhibit so much disregard for their own safety, just to satisfy their curiosity!
 
Good news! Rocky National posted 2 days ago on another forum that they are accepting Eskabar pre-orders for $30. Also noted ETA is 9/25 (2010 I hope ;))

Considering whether to get laser etching (99 cents if you use coupon code 'survivalist'). That big blade is just screaming for a logo or something, don't you guys think??
