Okay, I haven't been able to find this material anymore.. But I have stabilized and kiln dried 20 yo Curly Maple, I'll do a few of these. (since I have the material)..maybe some in black linen or canvas micarta, I also have some stag and elk but that just wont cut it on an Esky.:barf:.

Plan to pick up some dark dimondwood like cocobolo/rosewood..

Hopefully I can find some straight forward time within the next week or so and slam some out..

Regarding the lanyard maybe a 3/16" tube epoxied to one side of scales as wood the screws be, makes for easy assembly..

I would definitely be interested in some black (linen or canvas) micarta handles like that....if you need someone to try them out let me know!
