I'd like to sell my Esnyx modded GEC 15 for $45SPF (OBO/ non-knife trades?). I'll pay for first class shipping. Also included are two like new rough rider knives, consider them freebies.
This is from a couple years ago and I can no longer find the thread unfortunately. I paid about $108. SOLD PENDING FUNDAGE
I believe Evan added brass bolsters and Amboyna burl scales to a stock GEC 15. I have gotten a bunch of use out of this and it's time it finds a new home as I'm selling my entire collection. This was originally coated with a sealant outside the scales but I removed it after it got scratched up.
The finish went from shiny to more matte exposed wood. I actually prefer the way it looks and feels without the coating but it's probably less durable. I like the look of the exposed pores in the wood.
I also dropped this a couple times and one scale cracked and a tiny piece at the butt of the handle broke off. It's been superglued back on and shows no sign of coming apart. There's rust spotting and scratches on the backsprings and a little blades. It's been a user and is fittingly hair popping sharp.
The bolsters have rusted and been sanded and polished several times over. It has some spots currently, I'd be happy to sand it if you want.
If you have any questions feel free to ask, photos incoming. Don't use forum email please!! Pms preferred.
